Dr. Ke-Lin Du

K.-L. Du received the PhD in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 1998. He founded Xonlink Inc., Ningbo, China in 2014. He was Chief Scientist at Enjoyor Inc., Hangzhou, China from 2012 to 2014. He was on research staff at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada from 2001 to 2010. Prior to 2001, he was on technical staff with Huawei Technologies, China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. Dr. Du has authored four books (Neural Networks in a Softcomputing Framework, Springer, London, 2006; Wireless Communication Systems, Cambridge University Press, New York, 2010; Neural Networks and Statistical Learning, Springer, London, 2014; Search and Optimization by Metaheuristics, Springer, 2016). He has also published over 50 papers, and has 4 issued U.S. patents and 30 Chinese patents. Currently, his research interests are signal processing, wireless communications, and machine learning. In the past five years, he has co-supervised 11 MSc students.Dr. Du has become a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2009. He is currently an Affiliate Associate Professor at Concordia University. He has been on Editorial Board or been Associate Editor of 10 journals, including IET Signal Processing and Circuits, Systems & Signal Processing. He also serves on the editorial board of the Chinese edition of IEEE Spectrum. He served as member of technical / program / organizing committees of 94 international conferences. He has reviewed papers for 103 international journals, and numerous conferences, grants, theses, and qualifications. He was included in Marquis Who's Who in 2018.
Dr. Vladimir Chigrinov
Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author of 6 books, 25 reviews and book chapters, about 295 journal papers, more than 640 Conference presentations, and 112 patents and patent applications including 32 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He got Excellent Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012. He obtained Gold Medal and The Best Award in the Invention & Innovation Awards 2014 held at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2014, which was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 20-22 Feb 2014. Dr. Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO’S WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 17 books and 150 chapters in books.
Dr. Osman Adiguzel

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has already been working as professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions.
